How to integrate DanDomain with MarketingPlatform<\/h1>\n

You can easily synchronize your contacts between DanDomain and MarketingPlatform.\u00a0<\/p>\n

DanDomain does not have a common \u201cSubscribe to newsletter\u201d feature that we can use. Therefore, we need to activate reserved fields on the customers and make our own \u2018Subscribe to newsletter\u2019 field.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is done by going to \u201cSettings -> Shop settings -> Orders\u201d and clicking on \u201cSave reserved fields on customers\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Next, go to \u201cDesign -> Order fields\u201d. Here you will find the new reserved fields.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you enter and edit one of the reserved fields, you should first click \u201cShow in payment details\u201d and choose field type = Dropdown.<\/span>
After that, you should in field values<br> insert following value:\u00a0<\/span>No;Yes<\/span><\/p>\n

Once this is done, you will see the new created field in your payment window for Checkout.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you wish to sort contacts, so that there are only these contacts who come in MarketingPlatform, you can do this by setting up the connector.<\/span><\/p>\n

How to set up the general integration between DanDomain and MarketingPlatform:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0Use URL (domain name) of your webshop and an API key for the integration.<\/p>\n

1. Create\/find API key in the DanDomain shop<\/strong>
Start by logging in to DanDomain and find the section with Settings -> Integration<\/p>\n<\/div>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”https:\/\/marketingplatform.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/dandomain1.png” align_tablet=”center” align_last_edited=”on|desktop” _builder_version=”3.23″ max_width=”80%”][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.23.3″] \n\n1b. Click on Integration and then click on pencil icons next to Import\/Export[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”https:\/\/marketingplatform.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/dandomain2b.png” align_tablet=”center” align_last_edited=”on|desktop” _builder_version=”3.23″ max_width=”50%”][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.23.3″] \n\n1c. Name your integration (or leave the name), write possibly a note for your own use and then click on \u201cCreate new API key\u201d[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”https:\/\/marketingplatform.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/dandomain3.png” align_tablet=”center” align_last_edited=”on|desktop” _builder_version=”3.23″ max_width=”50%”][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.23.3″] \n\n1d. A Connector that needs to connect MarketingPlatform with your data in DanDomain must be created now. Log in to MarketingPlatform and go to the section \u2018Integration and Connector\u2019[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”https:\/\/marketingplatform.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/emp1.png” align_tablet=”center” align_last_edited=”on|desktop” _builder_version=”3.23″ max_width=”50%”][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.23.3″] \n\n1e. Name your Connector and select \u201cDanDomain\u201d from the section Connect System. Enter your webshop\u2019s URL (domain name), the API key that you just created in your DanDomain webshop and a date.
